As you can see the difference is quite clear. Both have the letterbox effect on them but the clip from tortured is much more stylised as it has a blue toned colour grade to give it a cold feel.
My story boarding techniques have developed since the prelim. When it came to the final project I realised how useful and important a storyboard was to the planing phase to make sure all of the shots would work and just to be able to visualise the final product before it was films. Although a good storyboard also proved important during the production phase as it helped us keep track of what we had filmed and what we needed to film.My filming skills had also developed, I realised the importance of handheld shots in a film. Handheld shots are able to create a connection between the audience and the film as they feel like they are actually looking around the scene, rather than a static shot as a real person wouldn't be standing completely still in one spot and therefore the audience gets pulled out of the scene.
